We collect one thing, for one reason: your email address, so we can send you the newsletter. Here is the whole policy in plain English.
What we collect
Your email address, the date you signed up, and which form on this site you used. Our email provider also records whether an issue was delivered, opened or clicked, which is how we tell whether anyone is reading. We do not ask for your name, your address, or anything else.
Who can see it
Our email service provider stores the list and sends the mail for us. Our web host serves these pages. Neither may use your address for their own purposes. Nobody else receives it — not advertisers, not data brokers, not other newsletters. We do not sell or rent the list, at any price.
Advertising
Local businesses buy space inside the newsletter. They pay for the slot, not for you. Advertisers never receive the subscriber list and cannot target an individual reader.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no advertising cookies and loads no third-party tracking scripts. The signup form records which section of the page it came from, so we know which parts of the site do their job. That is the extent of it.
Leaving, and deletion
Every issue has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you, immediately and permanently. If you would rather have your address deleted outright, email us and it is gone within a week. You do not have to give a reason.
Children
This newsletter is written for adults and we do not knowingly collect addresses from anyone under 13. If one reaches us, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes, and questions
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date above changes and we say so in an issue. Questions go to the same address as everything else.
